Shots Gamification Article

 

Shots Magazine needed an editorial illustration for an article on ‘Gamification’. Making use of game-thinking and game mechanics engages users and encourages desirable behaviour. With this in mind I worked in ink and watercolour to create an image of a brain that is made from pinball rails with a fruit machine heart below. The reels show logos of companies who have used gamification to good effect, such as Nike Plus and Foursquare.

The team at Shots were very happy with the illustration and have asked me to produce subsequent work for the magazine.
